Weekly Notices Term 2 Week 1

Welcome back everyone! Well the weather was pretty good over the holidays. Hope you had fun. I really enjoyed going to Peter Rabbit with my niece Olivia but best of all who went to see Infinity War? Wow! Was that a great movie.

Student led conferences will be in week two. This week we will finalise our goal setting so that you can talk with your parents about what your are working on learning or improving.

This week you will be studying a New Zealand solider and their war story. Our concept this term is Adaptation (change over time). Our values are excellence and courage. Maths we will be working on subtraction and addition.

The Holiday Reading Draw will take place at assembly, Friday 11th May. The logs to be returned to school by Thursday 9th please.

Weekly Notices Term 1 Week 10

Phew! That has been a whirl wind term. I hope you all enjoy your last week at school.

This week we will be learning about the Commonwealth Games and also beginning our research project about the ANZAC's.

ANZAC day falls during the holidays. Mr Macmillan is very keen to take as many children as he can to the parade. Please see the newsletter for details of where to meet him on the day.

No Swimming this week.

On Thursday we have our Annunciation Liturgy at 10 m in the Hall. All welcome.

Reading logs will go out this week, Please ensure your children are reading every day in the holidays.


Programme for children who are not baptised.

The Parish invites children who are 8 years old, as of 1 March 2018, to do a programme in preparation for Baptism, First Holy Communion, Confirmation and Reconciliation. If your child/family is interested please email your details to Fr Eamon, freamonkennedy@gmail.com, or call the Parish Secretary 07 3480289 ext 2. You will also need to meet with Fr Eamon for an interview, which will be organised for the month of April.

Term One Week 9

Well what a great time we had at camp last week. I was asleep at 8 pm on Thursday night along with many children I expect.

This Week

Resurrection Liturgy 10 am
We will be making Jesus' tomb. Please bring equipment you will need to make one. Things like yogurt pottles, plastic plates, moss, leaves and sticks will all be useful. See pictures below to get an idea of what you will be making.
